The British Fashion Council London Show Rooms LA Initiative Cocktail Party was held last night at the SkyBar at the Mondrian in Los Angeles as part of Concept Fashion Week. Within that week The British Fashion Council presented a designer showcase titled the LONDON show ROOMS at the ACE Gallery on Oct. 17 to 19 where West Coast buyers, stylists and press had the opportunity to meet some of London’s brightest design talent.

The showcase went on until the early evening yesterday and culminated with the cocktail party held with the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, Diane von Furstenberg, President of the CFDA, Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, and the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists were in attendance according to Apparel News
Of course our main concern here is the stars in attendance and along with Anna Wintour there was Lady Victoria Hervey, Bee Schaffer and last but not least Hailee Steinfeld famous for her recent role in the Oscar nominated film True Grit where she starred alongside Jeff Bridges. This actress is only 14 years of age and somebody we are keeping a close eye on for further developments hence this headline!
