Kim Kardashian and the Angel Ball To Benefit Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation. New York!

Kim Kardashian or is it Mrs Humphries? decided it would be a good idea to add some pizazz to the Angel Ball To Benefit Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation which was held at Cipriani’s in Wall Street in New York. She’s probably the person to do it!  On a side note why have these events got such long titles…..it seems the longer it is the posher it is or is it me?

Some other big names decided to join her including Naomi Campbell and Ivana Trump along with Estelle, Solange Knowles sister of Beyonce along with Mum Tina, La La Vasquez, TV Personality Samantha Harris and a Princess in the form of Princess Madeleine of Sweden and a host of other stars.

Britney Spears ‘Criminal’ (Official Video) and Verdict!

Britney Spears has just released her new official video for “Criminal” which was shot in North London in the Stoke Newington/Dalston area and caused all sorts of chaos in it’s wake and created a media storm. After all that though and with the dust settling is it any good. This video has just come out on You Tube and is 2 hours old. Let’s have a much needed grilling session!

The Video. Very interesting intro on this video she seems to have gone down the Gaga route of a long intro sort of mini film with no music but using the non arty route. Once the song kicks in we are hurled into a world of crime and passion and an urban landscape of the London variety.

Just intrigued why she picked London as this could have been shot in New York, LA or anywhere, but she does love this town and that’s maybe why!  It’s a very good if slightly dark video and a perfect match to the song. The twist at the end is very good as they get away unharmed and passion and crime rule the day. Wonder if Britney is trying to tell us something here,  is this about her in some sort of indirect way?

Names that were sighted included Katy Perry again on a night out , Kylie Minogue attending a recording session at a world famous recording studio and some general spotting shots include the regular daily of  Fearne Cotton and others including Nancy Dell’Olio, Imogen Thomas and Reg Travis. We’ve even got Russell Brand’s mum!

Chris Martin and Co of Coldplay fame will be entering the fray next week with the release of their new album  Mylo Xyloto which by now everybody will know about and it’s their fifth studio album due to be released on October 24. Massive and highly respected names here and a rather big cog in the musical industry. Of Multi Grammy award winning status, and it shows with their past material and they are decent live as well (they were superb at Glasto) always the sign of a good artist/group.

Katy Perry heads the line up of stars spotted over the weekend in London and New York with most of the paparazzi style shots being celebs in casual mode, these are sometimes the best.   Check the Katy Perry live perfromance on X Factor over at our Facebook.  Paparazzi photos include one charity red carpet event  where T shirts were the dress code, it was included because Rachel Stevens was there!.

Star names include a very casual George Clooney, Harrison Ford  suited and booted and Gwyneth Paltrow also in New York City looking cas. The celebs spotted in London included a lot associated with X Factor arriving or leaving the X Factor Studio including some of the finalists and of course the judges Louis, Gary, Kelly and Tulisa and Sintta put in an appearance as well who has associations with Simon Powell as fans will know. Michael Fassbender was at the ‘Shame’ premiere tonight on 14 October which is part of the  55th BFI London Film Festival. The event  was held at the Vue West End in Leicester Square. This film is directed by the famous actor Steve McQueen and is billed as an erotic drama. Along with Michael Fassbender other stars at the event included Director Steve McQueen, Abi Morgan, Iain Canning and Edith Bowman.

Anna Kendrick and the 50/50 Film Premiere at the BFI London Film Festival!

Anna Kendrick famous for her role along side George Clooney in the film “Up In The air” was in town last night for the premiere of 50/50 which is billed as a comedy/drama. along with Anna this film does have some names in it including Joseph Gordon Levitt in the lead role,Bryce Dallas Howard of Terminator fame, and Anjelica Huston and Seth Rogen who need no introduction. The film is directed by Jonathan Levine.
