Johnny Depp was at the premiere of ‘The Rum Diary’ which was presented by Film Independent at LACMA held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art last night. Amber Heard was also in attendance along with Aaron Eckhart and Giovanni Ribisi who also star in this Adventure/Drama style film. This is an Independent Film and with Depp and Heard and Eckhart lending their presence we have some acting weight here and it’s worthy of a closer look.

Actress Julia Roberts was at at the ‘Fireflies In The Garden’ Premiere at Pacific Theaters at the Grove last night in Los Angeles. Other names at this event included  Dermot Mulroney, Hayden Panettiere and Carrie Ann Moss. A smallish event this one!

Kelly Rowland and “Lay It On Me” ft Big Sean Official Video and Verdict

The song has been out a while now but it’s the official video we’ve been waiting on for this new number called “Lay It On Me” by Kelly Rowland of now UK X Factor fame feat Big Sean. It dropped yesterday on the KR Vevo Channel . Let’s have a look?

The Video. Kelly seems to be into loads of Torso flashing men in her vids and this one is more of the same with Kelly sizzling her way through the throng bumping and grinding……..and why not?. Some similarities here to Motivation in video terms but in a studio with more light so you can see what’s going on and more movement (the two main criticisms of the Motivation vid). It’s good number and a nice match to the song. Budget on this was probably reasonable as well (apart from The Elephant ?) which makes the final result all the more impressive.

Jude Law and “360″ the Opening Gala of the London Film Festival!

Festival director Sandra Hebron and actor Jude Law were at the  Odeon Leicester Square this evening on 12 Oct for the 360 film gala, and this marks the beginning of a mass of films and premiere’s hitting London in the coming weeks as the BFI London Film Festival gets underway. With names such as Madonna and her film “W.E” and George Clooney and his film “The Ides of March” also making an appearance amongst many others in the coming weeks..

Other names in attendance at this opening gala event included Gillian Anderson, Bonnie Wright, Gabriella Marcinkova and James Caan of Dragons Den fame. No Rachel Weisz though! Grab the full guest list at the foot of this article

A touch of class! This photo gallery was to be part of the previous celebrity spotting extravaganza, but these photos are so good they warrant a separate article. Dita Von Teese the Queen of Burlesque was at the launch of My Cointreau Travel Essentials yesterday in Milan. She rocked the vintage look  with designer names including  a stunning black Herve L. Leroux dress mixed with Shreiner Vintage jewelry and  Christian Louboutin shoes not to mention some nifty false lashes.
