Bio:

Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011) was an English singer-songwriter known for her powerful deep contralto vocalsand her eclectic mix of musical genres including R&B, soul and jazz. Winehouse’s 2003 debut album, Frank, was critically successful in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

Her 2006 follow-up album, Back to Black, led to six Grammy Award nominations and five wins, tying the then record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night, and made Winehouse the first British female to win five Grammys, including three of the “Big Four”: Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning on 23 July 2011. Her album Back to Black subsequently became the UK’s best selling album so far in the 21st century!

Alicia Augello Cook (born January 25, 1981), better known by her stage name Alicia Keys, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and occasional actress.

Keys’ debut album, Songs in A Minor, was a commercial success, selling over 12 million copies worldwide. The album earned Keys five Grammy Awards in 2002, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for “Fallin’”.

Her second studio album, The Diary of Alicia Keys, was released in 2003 and was also another success worldwide, selling eight million copies. The album garnered her an additional four Grammy Awards in 2005. Later that year, she released her first live album, Unplugged, which debuted at number one in the United States.She became the first female to have an MTV Unplugged album to debut at number one and the highest since Nirvana in 1994.

Her third studio album, As I Am, was released in  2007 and sold six million copies worldwide, earning Keys an additional three Grammy Awards

Amy Lou Adams is an American actress and singer. Adams began her performing career on stage in dinner theaters before making her screen debut in the 1999 black comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous. After a series of television guest appearances and roles in B movies, she landed the role of Brenda Strong in 2002′s Catch Me If You Can, but her breakthrough role was in the 2005 independent film Junebug, playing Ashley Johnsten, for which she received critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
