Preparations are underway for the XLVI Superbowl in Indianapolis over Stateside and this sports event is so big over there the day it’s on which this year is 5 Feb American’s consider it a National Holiday and call it Superbowl Sunday. It’s only rivaled by Thanksgiving, Independence Day and Christmas and Easter.

With the final taking place with the New England Patriots taking on the New York Giants, it’s a 2008 replay if ever there was.

From a celebrity and fame angle which is our interest here, this event is a serious celeb magnet.

The event is renowned for it’s live musical performances and who will sing the pre match national anthem, with this year being Kelly Clarkson. Not only that but the half time adverts also get top billing with names like Kim Kardashian and Megan Fox and that mobile ad in a bubble bath being pretty memorable examples!

We won’t even mention the huge number of ‘After Parties’ that take place after the event either near the event or nationwide!
