The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, now there’s a name for a film?  Ronald Pickup, Diana Hardcastle, Dame Judi Dench, Penelope Wilton, Tena Desae and Bill Nighy attended the World Premiere of ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ which was held at the Curzon Mayfair tonight 7 February in London and  this is a comedy drama style  film set in India.

Other names at the event included Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire fame and Thandie Newton who needs no introduction,  who previously attended the Laureus World Sports Awards held last night in London it was noted. (see previos article)

Thandie as always did it for us on the red carpet with a stylish classy powder blue number.

The Plot:
A group of British retirees have outsourced their retirement attracted by the less expensive and seemingly exotic India. They are enticed by advertisements about the newly restored Marigold Hotel and given false dreams of a life with leisure. They arrive to find the hotel in a state of its former self. IMDB are giving this 6.6/10. Limited or no reviews as yet elsewhere at the time of writing.

Looking at the cast in this film Judi Dench is not going to turn her hand to a drab film if she’s picked this one to star in, it must be half decent is all we can say!
