The London Evening Standard British Film Awards 2012 were held last night at the London Film Museum  in London. A smaller event then say the upcoming BAFTA’s but some Brit stars were in attendance for this film awards event such as Bonnie Wright, Claudia Winkelman,  Clemece Poesy, Elizabeth McGovern, Jamie Campbell Bower, John Hurt, Jessica Brown Findlay, Olivia Coleman, Luke Evans, Matt Smith and Warwick Davis.

Top winners at the event included Michael Fassbender for his role as a sex addict in Shame and also in Jane Eyre and Olivia Coleman picked up the Best Actress gong for her role in Tyrannossaur.

Gone with Olivia Coleman for the headline as it looks like Fassbender wasn’t there. Remember Coleman from the hit very Brit comedy TV show called Peep Show, a show that had me rolling around in hysterics probably because it reminds me of the some of the disastrous situations I personally get into (regularly), and she was a very good actress  within  that TV series.
