Catherine Duchess of Cambridge visits The National Portrait Gallery. London!

Catherine Duchess of Cambridge

A Royal visit to the National Portrait Gallery in Trafalgar Square in Central London took place today by non other than Catherine Middleton known as the Duchess of Cambridge. A solo visit without Prince William and she wore a classy regal grey number and she looked flawless as she always does and in a colour that is difficult to pull off. Other names at the Royal visit included Mary McCartney and Bella Freud, with the Freud name being particularly relevant here!

The visit was to see a preview of Lucian Freud paintings at the National Portrait Gallery. The exhibition, which officially opens to the general public on Thursday February 9, 2012, features 130 artworks spanning the length of Freud’s painting career from the early 1940s until his final, unfinished work.

We assume Kate didn’t have to pay to get in for this visit?
