Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the Cinema for Peace Gala Event which was held at the Konzerthaus Am Gendarmenmarkt during day five of the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.

Angelina Jolie and Mr Pitt predictably stole the show but other names of prominence were at the event including Monica Ivancan, Jana Pallaske,
Katie Melua, Bianca Jagger, Michelle Yeoh and Sir Bob Geldof.

These awards are given to outstanding films that are directed against human rights abuses, war and genocide, In the Land of Blood and Honey directed by Angelina Jolie is such a film and this ceremony awarded Angelina for recognition of that fact! The cast of her film were also in attendance.
