So who is stylish in an iconic manner in the eyes of Elle Magazine, one of the leading authorities in such things. We’ve got Rosie Huntington Whiteley currently as the face of this website and flying the Fame Fad flag, is Elle Mag in agreement with this in any shape or form?

The Elle Style Awards 2012 were held last night at the Savoy Hotel in London to answer that question and it  looks like they as in Elle are in agreement, as Rosie Huntington Whitely came away with The coveted Style Icon Award presented to her by Cuba Gooding Junior at the event.

In red carpet terms Rosie on the night shone as she always does in that effortless manner but so very very brightly. Stunning beauty and style without even trying or so she has us believing anyway. Went with Christina Ricci for the red carpet headline yesterday (see previous article) as a) she just pipped her in our unprofessional opinion and b)  just had a feeling Rosie Huntington Whitely would come away with something significant at this event.

Florence Welch came away with the best Music act and we are in agreement there. Best Model went to Isabeli Fontana. Best actress went to Michelle Williams with that Marilyn Monroe role playing a prominent part in that award decision. Next future icon is being billed as Jessica Chastain who picked up an award to mark that fact, noted here at Fame Fad and we’ll keep our eyes peeled for future developments.
