The Burberry event took place yesterday at Kensington Gardens in London and this is one of the big ones and is part of London Fashion Week (LFW) and they were show casing their Autumn/Winter 2012 (A/W 2012). This event was officially called the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2012 Show.

The purpose of these shows is to showcase their collection to those who need to see fashion ahead of the masses such as buyers, fashion and general media including say fashion bloggers, celebrities and even other designers may attend to size up the competition.

A full length video of about 22 minutes has just been released by Burberry and shows some superb footage of the venue with glass roof, the runway from various angles and of course models strutting down the runway as they do with that typical sombre no smiling look that they have. The video is so good it’s like you are actually there and essential viewing for fashionistas.

Burberry is not the most exciting or colourful show, they tend to be more real and focus more on classic and class. If it’s good enough for Rosie Huntington Whiteley though (also Face Of Burberry Body) who was very much on the front row of this event (check her out in the vid you can’t miss her) amongst other celebrities then it’s good enough for us. Emma Watson has been the ‘Face Of’ for this brand!

Interesting insider video for those who may have never attended such an event. Dull for some after a couple of minutes but essential and exciting viewing for the fashionista type. If there’s interest there may be others in the future!
