Jennifer Metcalfe and the British Soap Awards 2012. London. Red Carpet Arrivals!
The British soap Awards 2012 were held tonight (28 April) in Central London at the ITV Studios. With the London weather doing it’s best to rain on the parade of The British Soap Awards 2012 it didn’t exactly look like the night to hold a red carpet event. This didn’t stop the stars of British Soap TV getting glammed up for this TV red carpet spectacular that is one of the highlights in the Brit TV events showbiz calendar.
With the soap staples such as Hollyoaks, Eastenders,Coronation Street, Doctors and Emmerdale all in the running for picking up this years gongs naturally the stars from these shows were in attendance.
The actual awards event
is to be broadcast on Wednesday on ITV1 but this post is a closer look at the red carpet to see who was there, who wasn’t and who shone on the night.
Names in attendance included and with a buzzing if slightly soggy red carpet beckoning included Charlie Brooks, Gemma Merna, Helen Worth, Jacqueline Jossa, James Thornton, Jennifer Metcalfe, Katherine Kelly, Kieran Richardson, Kim Tiddy, Louise Roe and Shona McGarty. Louise Roe seemed to be getting the most red carpet attention from the photogs but the ones that shone on the night for us in the early arrivals included Jennifer Metcalfe and Katherine Kelly
