Scarlett Johansson gets her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
With a name like Scarlett Johansson, it’s only fitting to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it’s hardly your average everyday name such as Jane Smith or Julie Brown is it, this is an actress name if ever there was, and it’s her real name!.
Star of the recent Marvels The Avengers, Scarlett Johansson and her status in Hollywood just went up a couple of notches with an honouring on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The event was held late yesterday amidst an onlooking crowd and Scarlett did the customary thing which all the stars do no matter how big they are and that is kneel in front of it for the customary photos. When your name is on here you know you’ve cracked it. The Oscars or the Golden Globes are the only things that really come close.

Scarlett’s acting roots are from childhood where her first role was at age 9 in a film called North. Most of the best actresses started very very young indeed and Scarlett is one of those actresses. She’s been nominated for many awards and her most notable to date is a BAFTA for Best Actress in Lost in Translation. She’s currently 27. A Golden Globe or Oscar is on the cards some time in the future, that’s for sure!
