Some photos from the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay that took place on Thursday 26 July 2012 throughout Central London. The Olympic Flame passed through the White City, Shepherds Bush and Holland Park Area. Photos taken by yours truly who just happened to be in the BBC ish area at the time. Congratulations to Lizzie Armitstead for claiming the first medal for Team GB in the Women’s Olympic Cycle Road Race who got Silver in a blinding performance and Rebecca Adlington who got Bronze in the 400m Women’s   Freestyle Event on Sunday.
