With Bradley Wiggins (Wiggo aka Mr Sideburns) carrying a nations high expectations for a much needed Gold on his shoulder, the Stage was set at Hampton Court and Surrey for the London 2012 Olympics Road Time Men and Women’s Time Trial.
“Wiggo for Gold” was the headline from The Sun on the day and a certain FJ decided to go with semi decent camera in hand after an early 5am ish rise as the very strong feeling was….. this would be once in a lifetime stuff! A capture of the vibe and watch potential history being made and it most certainly was. Along with a Gold from the Women’s Rowing at Eton Dorney and also Chris Froome getting the bronze behind Mr Wiggins.
