Victoria Pendleton the Olympic Cyclist was at the Skyfall Royal World Premiere to add some Olympic presence to this event and certainly looked the part along with Paralympian Ellie Simmonds.
EXTRA: Photo above features Victoria Pendleton. She is carrying a Thomas Lyte handmade Caro clutch according to a recent email from officials at thomaslyte.com
More details from myself about the Skyfall Premiere along with further photos from the red carpet arrivals. Behind the scenes at this red carpet shoot at the new FJ.FAMEFAD.COM
Position. Photos were taken about 20 yards from the beginning of the red carpet and opposite the wheelchair pen which would put me where the stars would be getting out of their cars fresh and heading this way. Very handy and second row positioning with a foot stool for backup. Proved to be an exceptionally good spot for a large premiere such as this.
Arrived: 3pm ish as this was a large premiere
Left: About 7.30pm
Shots: 260 photos and about 80% keepers but being picky this comes down to 50-60% that are right on the money which is to be expected when shooting from within the crowds. from the press area you would be looking at 80% keepers minimum as the stars are basically handed to you on a plate. You would be out of a job if you achieved less!
Camera: Old dinosaur but lucky Canon 3oD with nifty fifty lens and in Aperture Priority
Flash: Manual 1/4 power throughout for long range and close work by stopping down considerably. No glass here as a backdrop like Leicester Square.
Settings: In the region of f5.6-f13 and 1/250 shutter
