Amanda Holden of Britain's Got Talent

The 2012 Chelsea Flower show is underway and the official pre opening day is the press and VIP review which was held yesterday at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. Some big Brit and international household name stars from past and present were at this event. Normally the Queen attends the Chelsea Flower Show along with other Royals but she is currently over in Canada on tour in connection with her ongoing Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Names at this famous British Institutional event included Ricky Gervais and Jane Fallon, Angela Rippon (famous newsreader) Bruce Forsythe (TV Showbiz persona) and Willhelmina Forsythe, Cliff Richard, Jerry Hall, Michael Caine, Ringo Star and Amanda Holden of BGT judging fame. Adele continues her march in the music awards stakes, if there is a music awards event out there she is normally picking up a gong somewhere along the line. Well she picked up more than one at this event, she totally dominated the proceedings and led the way with a huge haul, Top Artist being the one to win and Adele nailed that one along with many others. Good to see superior talent being recognised in a big way as these sort of singers don’t come along very often! A collection of photos taken inside the event and after the red carpet arrivals (see previous post for those shots) .

Photos taken from the actual Show itself with presenters and live performances along with some Press Room photos of the award winners holding their musical trophies, some sneaky Backstage pics seeing who was pally with who.

Winners on the night included the previously mentioned Katy Perry along with LMFAO who were also prominent along with Lady Gaga and Coldplay. all decent names you expect to win at least one award at such an event..

Performances included Kelly Clarkson of now Super Bowl National Anthem fame and Carrie Underwood who both did a live sample of their new singles, The Wanted also blasted out a tune , Usher and Justin Bieber thought it would be a good idea to perform on stage as well. “De Rouille et D’os” (doesn’t get any more French than that) Rust and Bone to the rest of us, had it’s premiere yesterday 17 May at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Marion Cotillard Oscar Winner and recently of Inception fame who has been quiet news wise of late is back with a massive bang and was dominating the red carpet at Cannes in no uncertain terms. She looked incredibly  happy to be there and the crowds were even happier.  She’s French the film is French, the premiere was in France, she’s gone back to her roots for this production….all good stuff.  The media are saying she could be coming away with the Best Actress Award at this coveted film festival. Huge arrivals guest list for this premiere with names such as Beth Ditto, Bingbing Fan (love that name), Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto the (Slumdog Millionaire Girl), Hofit Golan, Jane Fonda and plenty of French stars gracing the magnificent red carpet spectacular.. Photos after the jump!

The 2012 Cannes Film Festival is underway! Stars arrived en masse for the Opening Night Gala Dinner during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Electrolux Agora Pavilion yesterday May 16 in Cannes, France and do we have some names here? We certainly do! A quick scan of the guest list produces names such as Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Diane Kruger, Eva Herzigova, Ewan McGregor, Freida Pinto, Harvey Weinstein (had to be there naturally), Jane Fonda, Jessica Chastain, Lana Del Ray, Phoebe Price, Tilda Swinton and last but not least Bingbing Fan! That’s for starters.

When you think of red carpets Cannes and The Academy Awards are probably the top events that leap out for the most impact. For us here, Eva Longoria stole the show on the day in no uncertain terms with a dress and train to match that took up half the red carpet ensuring no other stars even got a look in. Classic! Diane Kruger seemed to be doing it for the photogs and came out as the most photographed at the event. Eva was doing it for us (as always) and stole the headline. Lady Gaga is currently over in Hong Kong checking out her little monsters and has been hitting the news for her fashion statements which is nothing new.

She’s come a long way and in a short period of time. Top person on Twitter as well .If you remember her early days it was “the more outrageous the better” but the last few months she seems to be taking on the sophisticated look but with the usual Gaga bizarre twist.
