Taylor Swift was amongst other music stars who descended on the 2013 Brit Awards which was held at the o2 Arena in North Greenwich in South London on Wednesday Night 20 February. Guest list included Jessie J, Emeli Sande and One Direction amongst many others.
A short flying visit produced 3 photos of Taylor Swift on a windy night including one ultra close up taken from the VIP Arrivals area where the screaming fans were. This was about 50 metres from the main red carpet staging area . The ultra close up shot was a mere 3 feet away……….. what is called in the trade a “within kissing distance” shot.

The Classic Brit Awards were held last night at the Royal Albert Hall in Central London in the Knightsbridge/Kensington Area. As you’ve guessed this is a music awards event in the Brit Awards style but with the focus on awarding outstanding classical music and associated artists.
It was a choice of either an event in Cavendish Square W1 (No5 to be exact) at the back of Oxford street or this one at the Royal Albert Hall. As I was coming straight from White City the Classic Brit Awards got the nod as it was nearer and easier to get too.
Myleene Klass was presenting at this event so was a dead cert on the red carpet arrivals which did play a major factor in deciding to drag some major camera gear to this event. Unfortunately she didn’t come over for a chat so no photo!
The Brit Awards 2012 were held last night at the O2 Arena in London and if you were anything to do with the Brit music scene you were probably there. Predictably Adele and Ed Sheeran came away with the lions share of the awards. Adele nailed the Best British Female and the Best British album Award with Ed Sheeran claiming the British Breakthrough Act and Best British Male.. Colplay had a well deserved win with the Best British Group Award and Emeli Sande a rising star we are watching closely was awarded the coveted Critics Choice Award. Full list of winners below.
