Sunset at Leicester Square on the Red Carpet Test Shot
A new Fame Fad behind the scenes blog called strangely enough Behind The Scenes at Fame Fad has been set up at fj.famefad.com and has just gone live this weekend.
Basically it’s stories behind the celebrity photos that yours truly has taken that appear on the main Fame Fad website just to illustrate what is involved in a typical days work as a Freelance Celebrity Photographer. Photographing stars is not easy and this new blog delves behind the scenes showing you what it takes to get “that shot”
Written in a casual style with a dash of unavoidable sarcasm and lashings of dry humour and laced with some not so great photos that led up to the decent shots that appear on the main Fame Fad website. Associated story which at times can be hilarious.
Updates are as and when and this is a companion blog to the Fame Fad at Tumblr blog that is crammed with photographic error shots that graphically illustrates what happens when things go wrong which they invariably do!
This new fj.famefad.com blog is currently BETA and in shell form and has just one post featuring Ben Affleck who is the star that brought this whole website idea into fruition.
The header (shown above) is just a test shot taken just before a premiere in Leicester Square just to set the stage and will probably be changing in the future.

Fame Fad will be changing in content format from next week 10 September after being pretty dormant for 3 months and will become more photo focused as in a photo blog with photos provided by yours truly most of the time instead of merely a celebrity news blog with the odd out of date photo added to spice things up a bit. A taste of what is heading your way has been happening sporadically over the last few weeks and months.
So if you’re after the latest news on Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry romance? and whether Tulisa has dyed her hair back from blonde or whether Cheryl Cole has her arm in a cast or not after the recent car crash with Will.I.Am you will be in the wrong place as from next week. There’s literally thousands of websites out there now that write about that stuff and the net is saturated with it, with every man and his dog setting up websites, so I recommend you go to one of those.
Was just thinking yesterday that nearly every man and his dog is down here at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, anybody that is anybody is here, surely a top socialite such as Kim Kardashian wouldn’t miss out on a fame magnet event like this……surely? Come to think of it this would be right up Paris Hilton’s Boulevard as well? . Lo and behold, no sooner has that thought passed through the mind, KK has been spotted arriving at Cannes with Paris Hilton hot on her heels (or is it the other way round).
Paparazzi photos from the local paps taken on Day 7 at the Cannes Film Festival include the aforementioned Kim Kardashian, the headline stealing Brad Pitt (minus Jolie it was noted) who was there for the Killing Them Softly Premiere along with Adrien Brody, Karolina Kurkova, Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Milla Jovovich, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton and not forgetting the infamous Scott McNairy. Cannes Film Festival is buzzing although the weather hasn’t recently, with some unusual rain at the event but this being The Med rain doesn’t stay for long. Another huge influx of stars arrived for Day 6 of the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and some more photos of stars in casual mode as far removed from the red carpet at Cannes as you can get. Paparazzi photos is the topic here.
A quick scan of the names papped and we have Rita Ora, Ronan Keating. Karolina Kurkova, Tamara Beckwith, Irina Shayk and Cassie Ventura and Nick Cave. Full celebrity names photographed at foot. Rita Ora was the most heavily photographed in this gallery but gone with Nick Cave of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds fame billed by many as the modern day Leonard Cohen, for me that name just stands out on the list for obvious reasons……he’s a character. Stars are flooding into Cannes for the 65th Cannes Film Festival, lets face it, this is one of those red carpets to be on…….whatever it takes! These are not red carpet shots though in this article, these are the equally interesting photos ogf stars arriving at Nice airport or spotted out and about in Cannes itself.
Who do have papped? Naomi Watts heads the line up along with Lily Cole, Melissa George, Pete Doherty (yes with the infamous hat) , Asia Argento, Ines de la Fressange, Nastassja Kinski, Orson Salazar, Paz Vega and of course not forgetting a checked shirt Shia LaBeouf. Stone me we’ve even got close ups of suitcases and handbag shots. Doesn’t get any better than that!
