The Duchess of Cambridge was in attendance at the National Portrait Gallery last night for an event to celebrate the work of The Art Room.
The Art Room is a charity which uses art to increase children’s self-confidence and independence, was marking its 11th anniversary and launching a new fundraising campaign at the event last night, attended by 250 artists, school children and supporters including Marc Quinn and Jenny Savile.
Kate dazzled as she always does in a 1950s’ style duck-egg blue empire-line Emilia Wickstead cocktail dress.
Very difficult situation to shoot in with large crowds and a time span from arrival to entering the gallery was a mere 30 seconds with a mere cursory glance in the direction of the press.

Jessica Wright at the Olympus Has Fallen Premiere London
The Olympus Has Fallen Premiere was buzzing the BFI IMAX last night 3 April in London with it’s European Premiere and there was an extensive guest list for this event.
With the main action centred around the films leads of Aaron Eckhart and Gerard Butler the female stars had to pull the stops out to ensure they shone as brightly as the Eckhart and Butler combo.
Guest on the night included The Voice Finalist Bo Bruce, Gabriella Ellis, Jessica-Jane Clement, Labrinth, Lydia Rose Bright, Matt Johnson, Natalie Pinkham, Sophie Turner and Swayamongst others.
Difficult to pull a headliner out of this collection of guest arrivals but Jessica Wright seemed to do it for us here on the night with Frankie Essex raising a few eyebrows and warming up a chilly night.

With a name like Scarlett Johansson, it’s only fitting to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it’s hardly your average everyday name such as Jane Smith or Julie Brown is it, this is an actress name if ever there was, and it’s her real name!.
Star of the recent Marvels The Avengers, Scarlett Johansson and her status in Hollywood just went up a couple of notches with an honouring on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The event was held late yesterday amidst an onlooking crowd and Scarlett did the customary thing which all the stars do no matter how big they are and that is kneel in front of it for the customary photos. When your name is on here you know you’ve cracked it. The Oscars or the Golden Globes are the only things that really come close.
She may not be in TOWIE anymore but she’s certainly in demand on the promo circuit with her latest being a Samsung tie in.
Amy Childs was spotted earlier today glammed up showing off those curves for a launch of the new range of Samsung SMART cameras at Westfield in White City shopping centre and the crowds turned up to catch a glimpse of the fame train that is Amy Childs.
Just wonder who’s getting the most promotion here as in Amy or the Samsung cam, eyes are probably more on her than what she’s holding. Just a thought.
