Michelle Williams who was nominated for Best Actress in her role in “my Week with Marilyn” at this years 2012 Oscars (84th Academy Awards) was one of the most photographed stars on the night and was only just marginally beaten by Angelina Jolie judged by sheer number of photos taken……………..it was close! Michelle Williams did look very good indeed in a red flowing gown topped off with her trademark blonde crop.. This event was broadcast live on ABC. The red carpet arrivals started at 4pm and finished at 5.30pm which is when the 2012 Oscars Awards Show started and the red carpet was packed with stars as you would expect making it the who’s who of Hollywood including actors. actresses, directors and anybody involved with the Hollywood film industry. Other prominent names from TV and music were also present.
So who was there? Obviously the two power couples Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt along with George Cloonet and Stacy Keibler. Cameron Diaz was making the headlines with the photogs along with previous Best actress winner Natalie Portman. and Sandra Bullock who has also won at this event. The 18th Screen Actor’s Guild Awards (SAG) has announced some new names as presenters including two time SAG nominees Viola Davis (The Help) and Glenn Close (Albert Nobbs) according to People today.
Also presenting will be Berenice Bejo (The Artist) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) along with first time SAG nominee Shailene Woodley who is a strong possible.
They will join names already on the SAG presenters list including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey and Natalie Portman.
The show will be live on TBS and TNT (8 p.m. ET) from The Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. Winners, red carpet photos and event photos will be at Famefad when they are available for release!
The 2012 Golden Globe Awards one of the biggest film and most prestigious awards events in the movie awards calendar, only beaten by one other which doesn’t need naming here for obvious reasons was held last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beveryl Hills in LA.
