Nicole Kidman and her other half Keith Urban attended ’The Paperboy’ premiere last night during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. A lot of names at this event including Heidi Klum, John Cusack, Lee Daniels (director), Macy Gray, Matthew McConaughey and of course Zac Efron.
Bit of a controversial film this one, (don’t we love a bit of controversy). WHY is the question? For want of a better word Nicole Kidman “takes a leak” over Zac Efron (in the film not on the red carpet!), that’s why, and as you can imagine there was a critical bloodbath of the first order at Cannes, with the headlines “Savaged” amongst many others being the result. Reading the plot from IMDB which states
A reporter returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate.
there doesn’t seem to be much indication of that sort of thing going on there…………. but happen it does!
So who’s in this HOT The Paperboy film directed by Lee Daniels. Well it’s obviously got Zac Efron in it, along with Matthew McConaughey, the essential Nicole Kidman and John Cusack being in the leading roles.
Metro have done a blinding critical media storm article on this, grab further details on the critics remarks here with “mind reboot” being for starters, and many more which are a tad more cutting. These critics do make me laugh, maybe that’s why I do this job……maybe I should be a critic. On second thoughts maybe not, it would be like Ricky Gervais at The Golden Globes. (first time)?

The 2012 Kids Choice Awards were held over the weekend and this event celebrates the best in Childrens TV, now in it’s 25th year and was held at the Galen Center on March 31, 2012 in Los Angeles.
Stars turned out for this one with names including Heidi Klum, Katy Perry in lime green with blue hair, Victoria Justice, Kelly Osbourne, Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, Zac Efron, Adam Sandler, Jada Pinkett Smith, Taylor Lautner, Emma Stone and more. Kelly Osbourne was sporting the prematurely grey look……………not too sure about that one. Even Michelle Obama was there! Red carpet arrivals photos below. The carpet wasn’t red..it was Orange.

The 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party was held at West Hollywood Park in West Hollywood and this is the second largest after party after the official Vanity Fair bash. (see previous article) hosted by Elton John who was obviously in attendance.
Totally different vibe on this after party and a different less formal atmosphere and one that has a broader spectrum of stars in attendance and not necessarily from film.
So who was there. We have some fun names here, this is the party I would be at to have a laugh and then have a quick mingle at the Vanity Fair afterwards..
Top on the photogs lists was Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth managed to sneak in (they were also at the Vanity Fair do) , Whoopi Goldberg, Vanessa Hudgens, Bar Rafaeli, Brooklyn Decker, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Carmen Electra, Dita Von Teese, Chace Crawford, Jane Seymour, Karolina Kurkova, Kelly Osbourne, Kourtney Kardashian, Katy Perry and Malin Akerman and Mischa Barton.
