The 2012 Billboard Music Awards were held last night on May 20, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and as you can imagine this red carpet music awards event pulled in the big music stars like nothing else. Some big names here, some we haven’t seen for some time but essential on a guest list for a major music award such as this.
Who was there? The Bieber was there rcoking his new Elvis barnet along with Katy Perry (you may have heard of her), Alicia Keys and other half Swizz Beatz, Amber Rose, Carrie Underwood, Amber Rose, Gladys Knight, John Legend, Julianne Hough, Miley Cyrus, Nelly Furtado, Taylor Swift, The Wanted, Usher and Zooey Deschanel. That’s a quick skim of the more prominent names on the guest list, full rather large guest list at foot of this article.

The ASCAP Pop Awards were held last night at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood, LA.
Hardly the Grammy’s but plenty of A List music stars and beyond were in attendance with the headliner being a chirpy Katy Perry who stole the red carpet honours on the night doing a bit of strap teasing along with Natalie Maines, Carly Simon, Ne-Yo, David Guetta, Jane Fonda, Peter Frampton, Taio Cruz and Dan Wilson.

In celebrity terms a few parties spring up here and there and Lacoste Live hosted a desert pool party in celebration of Coachella 2012 which was held on Saturday April 14 in Thermal, California.

The huge Music and Arts Festival that is Coachella 2012 is currently underway in Indio - California and this is a summary of Day 1 from Friday at this live music event featuring established, classic name and rising stars performing along with some celebrities at the event with of course some shots of them soaking up the musical vibe courtesy of the Getty photogs mingling with the crowd..
Names performing include Jarvis Cocker, Jimmy Cliff, EMA and Pulp amongst many others. This gallery link below was currently updating so there may be others after posting.
The 2012 Kids Choice Awards were held over the weekend and this event celebrates the best in Childrens TV, now in it’s 25th year and was held at the Galen Center on March 31, 2012 in Los Angeles.
Stars turned out for this one with names including Heidi Klum, Katy Perry in lime green with blue hair, Victoria Justice, Kelly Osbourne, Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, Zac Efron, Adam Sandler, Jada Pinkett Smith, Taylor Lautner, Emma Stone and more. Kelly Osbourne was sporting the prematurely grey look……………not too sure about that one. Even Michelle Obama was there! Red carpet arrivals photos below. The carpet wasn’t red..it was Orange.
