Eva Mendes attended the Los Angeles special screening of ‘Girl In Progress’ which was held last night (2 May) at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles. This film is a smaller production and is a comedy drama which will be on a limited release with the release date being billed as 11 May. Limited information as well on this film as well but it does star Eva Mendes, Russell Peters, Cierra Ramirez and Patricia Arquette.

Brit Boy Band The Wanted are currently causing a stir stateside and were at EXTRA performing their latest offering live for a taping of the show at The Grove in LA in front of a vibing crowd. They also decided to do a BOGOF special just like the supermarkets and made it a CD signing as well. If Asda can do it why can’t they?

Dick Clarke the famous US TV Host and Producer famous for “American Bandstand” and the founder of Dick Clark Productions, supplying movies, game and music shows, beauty contests and more to TV died at the age of 82 on Wednesday. The death was a result of a heart attack on Wednesday morning at Saint John’s hospital in Santa Monica, a day after being admitted.
According to CBS among his credits are “The $25,000 Pyramid,” “TV’s Bloopers and Practical Jokes” and the American Music Awards.
