Eva Mendes attended the Los Angeles special screening of ‘Girl In Progress’ which was held last night (2 May) at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles. This film is a smaller production and is a comedy drama which will be on a limited release with the release date being billed as 11 May. Limited information as well on this film as well but it does star Eva Mendes, Russell Peters, Cierra Ramirez and Patricia Arquette.

The London Film Premiere for Strippers Vs Werewolves was supposed to be held tonight 24 April at the BFI IMAX cinema on the Southbank. We’ve managed to get one shot of this event as it looks like the premiere did take place sort of. Photo . Yes you did read that right this film is called “Strippers vs Werewolves”. Have decided to run this article which was bashed out on my mobile, premiere or not, as this looks a cracker….er…….not?
With such a ridiculous title this can’t be a horror movie to be taken seriously, so is it indeed a comedy horror? That would certainly be correct!
Blake Lively of Gossip Girl fame, happening now actor Taylor Kitsch and the famed director Oliver Stone with the word “Savages” as the film title, thought we had better take a closer look at this!
Those who are fans of the Director Oliver Stone know of his abilities in making good films with a fair bit of violence thrown in the mix including films such as Natural Born Killers and U Turn along with Platoon, JFK and W being his other prominent offerings to name just a few.

The European Premiere of ‘Salmon Fishing In The Yemen’ was held tonight April 10, at the Odeon Kensington in London. This film as you can gather is a comedy that has romantic leanings………you could say that would make it a Rom Com.
The film stars Tom Mison, Amr Waked, Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor, who were all at the premiere event along with producer Paul Webster, screenwriter Simon Beaufoy and Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Lionsgate UK Zygi Kamas. Group photo here

The premiere of The Weinstein Company’s ‘Bully’ was held last night at the Mann Chinese 6 in Los Angeles. According to headlines this documentary is to be released without a rating after one being granted only for an R rating by the US Rating people according to The Telegraph and director Lee Hirsch ie 17 and over. . It’s still being released regardless with the unrated tag. The legalities on that situation I’m not sure on………….. I have to say.?
Big turn out for this documentary release with names such as Victoria Justice who needs no introduction, Gillian Jacobs and Giuliana Rancic being the more prominent names on the arrivals list offering their support for this worthy cause. Full guest list at foot of this article. (more…)
