Sandra Bullock at The Heat Gala Screening London. Photo: Frank John for Famefad.com
The Heat Gala Screening was held at the Curzon cinema, Mayfair in Central London tonight 13 June and the road was closed off for event. WHY? Sandra Bullock was coming that’s why.
Crowds turned out for this one, a small event at a small venue but with a big name star, these events are always the best.
The director Paul Feig was in attendance decked out in a pin stripe and bowler hat.Other names at the event included Katie Dippold, Kimberley Garner and Jessica Chaffin and Alex Zane and more.
Haven’t seen Sandra around for a while. Good to see her back……even better in person and it has to be said she was looking incredibly good. Check out the shoes for some serious style!

Henry Cavill Close up at the Man of Steel Premiere London
The latest Superman offering called Man of Steel had it’s European Premiere at both the Odeon and Empire cinemas in Leicester Sqaure on wednesday 12 June. It’s a big one.
With an all star cast including Henry Cavill as Superman and other stars including Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Russell Crowe and Laurence Fishburn.. Direction is by Zach Snyder.
The premiere was billed for a 5.30pm start. No Kevin Costner, he was unable to attend but the rest of the cast including the director were all at this event.
Struggled to get the women on this night including Amy Adams. Somebody asked me whether I got some good shots. The answer was with a shaky hand and a shrug and a ” I’ve taken better”. I wasn’t happy lets put it that way. That’s the way it goes sometimes……….especially with large premieres!
Cameras Used: 2 with 1 Flash Body and 1 Daylight Body no Flash
Weather: Drizzle which turned to rain
Crowds: Large but not as big as The Hobbit
Press: Must have been about 50
Location: where the cars pulled up at the Swiss Clock end
Problems: Not enough female stars heading in my direction and a rather strange nicotine coloured screen at the internet cafe making colour and exposure judgements a bit problematic. These photos may be a tad off!
Film Plot:
A young journalist is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race.
Dan Stevens at The Summer in February Premiere at the Curzon Cinema in Mayfair, London
The Summer in February film premiere was held at the Curzopn Cinema in Mayfair on Monday 10 June and this was a small event and a small venue but which had quite a few names turn up including many of the cast but sadly no Emily Browning.
Names in attendance included Dominic Cooper, Clare Balding, Carol Vorderman, Allen Leech,
Dan Stevens, Mia Austen, Hattie Morahan, Stephen Fry, Nicholas Farrell and Max Deacon amongst others.
Due to the nature of this venue with a road runnin g right through the middle of it, vans, taxis, cyclists and other distractions appear in the background just when you hit the shutter button.
Film Plot:
A true tale of love, liberty and scandal amongst the Edwardian artists’ colony in Cornwall
