Everything is mobile these days! The FJ Girls Twitter account is one of those things that’s been on the back burner for some time and really all it has been doing is just showing a duplicate version of whats on the RSS feed at the blog as slogging away at a PC or laptop for even more hours simply did not appeal and who can blame.
But it looks like thanks to mobile technology, this could be changing! As good as the blog is, we think this Twitter account could do a whole lot more than just show the same posts. Now that yours truly has a decent smart phone with a dodgy camera and battery and does like to “have a laugh” , you’ll see more activity on Twitter and it’s been decided to use it to “have a laugh” with some of the more humorous sides of celebrity life. Also for news research. Not enough content for a blog post but ideal for something like Twitter and something that can be done on the vast number of hours spent travelling on public transport everyday. There may even be the occasional tweet from that mysterious blogger called FJ……………a total mystery if ever there was!
The feed from this FJ Girls at Twitter will be put on the blog side column and other parts of the main site as the content will become different from the original blog feed although that content will still form part of the FJ Girls at Twitter feed.
Now with regards to “Following” we are currently following gossip tweets and celebrities only and that stands at a shockingly anti social 38, this may change in the future as we will be looking to follow about 100 or so people (maybe more) and some of those will be non celebrities but you’ll have to be good.We’re not looking for friendship, haven’t got the time, but like minded people that live and breathe celebrities in some shape or form………..now we’re talking!
Somebody that goes to concerts regularly, hangs out at film premiere’s maybe works at a PR company or somebody that just seems to bump into celebrities on a regular basis……..that’s what we are looking for! In effect you’ll be an unpaid employee of FJ Girls but if any tweets are very good indeed with regard to celebrity news then we will mention you on our main blog such as “story blah blah” or photo xyz courtesy JanePartyAnimal at Twitter. Who knows…could be a paid job in the future?
We are looking to try and tie this Twitter thing in the future with the FJ Girls Community to also get that started. The look of FJ Girls at Twitter may also be changing as we are looking for a new backdrop and icon. Just part of some interesting developments and ideas on the way throughout August.
